"By The Sea Port Douglas is in a perfect location (only a stone's throw from the beach and easy walking distance to every restaurant and store in town), and it is quite convenient for the Great Barrier Reef tours and visiting the rain forest areas, too! It has been kept up beautifully, very pretty, lots of room and set up to be extremely convenient. It also provided beach towels, chairs, ice, ice bucket and umbrella, so we didn't have to worry at all about the enjoyment of the beach without being able to bring those things from the US."
