"Swana Bangkok Hotel is definitely in a very urban feeling neighbourhood that may not appeal to a first time traveller to Asia or be everyone's cup of tea but for us, it worked.
There's an open air sidewalk restaurant a few blocks away towards Khao San Road that is quite good and packed with locals (to me always a good sign)"
