"Our room was just a standard room but it was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and we had no problems. The view of the river is beautiful, the club facilities are superb and the proximity to shops and restaurants is convenient.
Had drinks in the lobby bar before going elsewhere for diner - friendly service and nice atmosphere. Buffet breakfast was very nice - plenty of choice and prompt service when I asked for poached eggs."

"The staff at the Duxton were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they even advised us on places to go (business and pleasure) and how to get there.
The food at any time of day was good but I especially enjoyed the breakfast as they have about 15 types of bread for toasting and lots of lovely smoked salmon. They bought me pot after pot of coffee without complaint and by the end of our stay we felt like part of the family."
