"Holiday Inn Cairns is a great hotel near the Esplanade so everything is only 5 minutes away. We booked the ocean view room and I recommend it to everyone, it's surely worth the money. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was good. The staff was always helpful and the possibility to book tours directly from the hall is fantastic.
The pool is a bit small but if it isn't too crowded it's fine."

"We had a room overlooking the inlet, with a good size balcony and a great view. The price was good compared to other hotels on the waterfront and in a central location. The Holiday Inn Cairns is in a great location, close to restaurants, stores and the waterfront. The grounds, lobby and pool were clean and well kept."
