Just walk though the breakfast restaurant, past the swimming pools and the back entrance will lead you right to the Patong beach. The most accessible hotel on the Patong strip and still far away from the wild side of Patong. Many great restaurants around the area and shopping is everywhere. "Directly outside Holiday Inn Resort Phuket is Patong Beach and on both sides of the hotel are endless roads full of street shopping with lots of hustlers begging you to buy suits / massages / clothes. A 10 min walk or tuk tuk ride to the Jaycelon Shopping Mall & Robinsons Shopping Mall (opens 11am-11pm) is an absolute must. These shops are air-conditioned department stores with no hassles from shop owners. Good quality branded clothes at discounted prices. There is a "coffee club" shop outside the mall with free internet use."
