"Had a beautiful harbour view with a balcony and the most snugly bed. The room was quiet and light. Dinner in the restaurant 'Plates' was absolutely exceptional as was the service.
Rydges Wellington is within easy walking distance of both the Museum, City Gallery, shopping and Parliament buildings."

"We stayed at Rydges Wellington for 2 nights and had a corner room, with a big balcony, overlooking the harbour. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a decent enough buffet.
Location was good - we arrived at the weekend so managed to get a parking space straight outside the hotel and didn't have to pay at all. We walked everywhere in the city and it was easy to get around - 15 mins to Te Papa, 10 mins to the cable car etc."
