"My single room at Hotel 1929 was small, but clean and well-designed. The rooms are funky and provided you are not claustrophobic they fit you and your possessions fine. It was in a great location (8 min. walk from MRT, 2 min. from heart of Chinatown). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Singapore."

"Although the room at Hotel 1929 is small, it was very clean and comfortable. We had no problem with room size for 2 people and found it had everything we needed. The furnishings are lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The room design really helps you appreciate what can be done in a small space and we were impressed with what they have achieved."
