"Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart has a great location and a great view of the harbour. Found the staff all very helpful and nice. Easy walking distance to Salamanca Market and surrounded by restaurants. The seafood dinner in the restaurant was lovely."

"Great views of either the marina, CBD or Mt. Mitchell. There's an excellent restaurant which is expensive but food is great at dinner. There's also a buffet breakfast in the morning and beautiful morning and afternoon teas in the lobby bar area.
Easy walk to most sights, the Tasmanian Museum is in the next block as well as the Maritime Museum. There are several good seafood restaurants right across the street from Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart and the Salamanca Market area is only about 4 blocks away."
