"Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa is a short drive to town which was not a problem for us as we had a car, although within easy walking distance are several eateries/takeaways and a bottle store. The facilities were superb. Beautiful, clean apartments and great pools. Very helpful and friendly staff."

"Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa is delightful to stay in, highlight being the swimming pools and the service apartments that are well equipped and extremely spacious.
Close to the shopping area. Quite far from Cairns city centre but they do have a free bus or the reception easily books taxis for you."
