"We have just returned from a six night stay at Downtown Marriott and were pleasantly surprised. We went to Disneyland by train. Hollywood and Universal Studios by Metro and 3rd St Promenade Santa Monica on the Big Blue Bus.
Hotel is so convenient for public transport and there are good restaurants within walking distance. Who needs a car!"

"We stayed at Los Angeles Marriott Downtown for a week. Next to expressways so easy to get around (use 3rd St to go directly to Hollywood area). Clean comfortable rooms, fitness areas and pool.
Location in the Downtown does limit dining/entertainment options at night but there's a cinema adjacent, the award-winning Ciudad restaurant is 3 mins walk, the Westin Bonaventure across the road has a rooftop bar and a ten min stroll to the 7th St intersection brings you to great restaurants such as Morton's, Engine 37 and Ciao."
