"We had a beach front room at Manuia Beach Boutique Hotel with the most amazing view over the pool deck area, beach and ocean. The resort caters for couples and it is peaceful and quiet.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool & deck area is lovely and sunsets are picture perfect. You just have to order a glass of wine or cocktail and sit on the deck and chill out."

"The location of Manuia Beach Boutique Hotel was right on the beach away from the traffic on the main ring road and the ocean views from the beachfront rooms were superb. The restaurant aptly named 'Right on the Beach' had a sand floor so there was no need to wear shoes if you didn't wish too.
The infinity pool looked straight out to the reef and although not huge was plenty deep enough and more than adequate. Snorkelling gear and reef shoes were available free of charge. Daily afternoon tea was served each day where you could help yourself to coffee, tea and muffins."
