"We had a Hibiscus room (fan only) at Melanesian Hotel which was very clean and was serviced daily. Pool area/pool were very clean. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. It is also a short walk to a supermarket, downtown and around the corner from Emilys restaurant where you can dine almost 24/7 at cheap rates and some nights get entertainment thrown in."

"Melanesian Hotel, was fantastic, very very clean, lovely room overlooking the pool with a small veranda I could sit on and watch while my son swam in the pool below. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of town (10 minutes downhill), two car rental agencies (Budget and Hertz are both only a 2 minute walk away), and the local supermarket (2 minutes)."
