"The service from the Mercure Hotel Sydney staff was great, they were all friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty much full when we stayed, which meant a lot of people wanted the buffet breakfast all at the same time, the staff managed to get tables cleaned and set quickly so there was minimal waiting time for guests arriving for breakfast. The room was as described, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, right near the central train station, as well as bus stops. It is really easy to get to the shops and all other Sydney attractions."

"Overall, the Mercure Hotel Sydney was a pretty decent experience considering my stays in the Sydney CBD hotels in this price and 3-4 star range. I was lucky enough to get a room on the top floor (14) with a nice view of the city. The room was small but well appointed."
