"Our room at Peninsula Excelsior Hotel was clean. We didn't use too much of their service because we were out most of the time. But they were all polite. This is a good hotel for stopovers. It's in the heart of the city and you can find everything around (shops & restaurants). It has two towers so try to stay in the Peninsula Tower because it's renovated. Location is very convenient to public transportation."

"Peninsula Excelsior Hotel is strategically located within a 3 min walk from MRT and it is really within a 15 min train ride to almost the must-see locations in Singapore e.g. Orchard, Bugis, Chinatown etc. You are also located very close to the famous shopping mall (Raffles City), located next to Swisshotel and Chijmes. Swisshotel has a good rooftop bar where Chijmes is a world heritage building being turned into a dinning, bar area. Good place to hang out and chill."
