"It's a good 20 to 30 minutes walk to the city, but about 2 to 3 blocks away from the North Hobart restaurant strip along Elizabeth Street. Here there are plenty of really good shops and restaurants.
The room was clean, immaculately made up and roomy. Staff at Rydges Hotel Hobart were very helpful as well."

"Rooms are large and comfortable, with nice views of the North Hobart oval. I generally stay in the newer section, which offers self-contained accommodation and cooking facilities.
The bar at Rydges Hotel Hobart is pleasant (lovely on a winter's night) and the buffet breakfast is good quality. Restaurant menu is limited but the food is good and there are several eating options nearby. Staff are friendly and very helpful."
