"Rydges Lakeland Resort is a great location, it is the first bus stop after the town centre and costs $6 to get there from the Airport (25-30min). Can easily walk to the town centre in 5 min, walking along the lakeside.
Nice rooms overall, with nice views of Lake Wakatipu and flat screen TV in the deluxe rooms."

"We loved the location of Rydges Lakeland Resort, about a block and a half walk to town and right on the Lake. It was so nice to have dinner in town and then have a little short walk back. Our room had a fabulous lake view and we could watch the boats go by.
The staff was the best ever, so friendly and helpful, they even booked our tours for us. We thought this hotel was a great find, convenient and close to town yet far enough away from the hustle."
