"Sea Temple Resort and Spa is beautiful and well kept with a fantastic pool. January was the perfect time for us as the hotel wasn't full of tourists or kids.
Although this hotel is out of town in relation to Port Douglas, there is a regular bus service that stops right outside & takes you into town."

"Sea Temple Resort and Spa is not cheap, but the experience is worth it. We chose the smaller studio room which is like a hotel room rather than the apartment-style larger options. The great thing about this studio room is the huge spa bath tub.
The pool is amazing, and kept our five year old amused for hours. We also enjoyed some rainforest friends waiting for us outside our room each night including tree frogs, geckos and lizards. My son became quite attached to our temporary pets."
