"If you want an impressive hotel with service that is outstanding, excellent food and great beds, Sofitel Queenstown is it. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally good and the front desk/concierge staff are faultless. Concierge cannot do enough for you. Dinner in the restaurant was great and not very expensive.
While in Queenstown you must visit Fernburger which is right across the street. Great burgers. Vudu lounge is a block away and we had an excellent lunch there. I also recommend using Air Milford for a scenic flight over Milford Sound. One of the world's wonders."

"Sofitel Queenstown was just totally remodelled and it is stunning. The rooms are very modern and nice with a very comfortable bed. Spa like bathroom includes large soaking tub with a TV behind mirror to view in the tub and an excellent shower.
The staff is very eager to help. The best part of this hotel is the prime location. It is literally at the centre of town and walking distance to everything. It is also at the base of the gondola."
