"My husband and I stayed at the Washington Square Hotel for new Years Eve. We were looking for a place that was affordable but clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great art deco jazzy feel. The customer service was great, and the room was comfortable. It was on the small side, but most rooms in NYC are so that was no big deal. Also, the walls are a little thin, but overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The cafe is really yummy too."

"I was trying to find a hotel that was within easy walking distance from the subway, restaurants and shops without being in a touristy area. Washington Square Hotel is perfect. Ronnie the doorman/concierge was a gem. From check in to check out he had helpful tips and information to make our stay better. The room was small, bathroom tiny, but we weren't in NYC for a rest; with everything to see and do we didn't spend much time in the hotel. However the time we spent there was comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect."
